Make NY Times.com Your new Homepage

on the very top of your Computer screen
Internet Explorer indicates

click on Tools and go down to Internet options
A window opens and says
Homepage: You can change which page to use for your homepage

enter a new homepage for example https://www.google.com
click on ok
........ the next time you start your computer
it will start with the new homepage
For Mozilla Firefox:
on the very top of your Computer screen
Internet Explorer indicates
File - Edit - View - History - Bookmarks - Tools - Help
click on Tools and go down to Options
A window opens and says
When Firefox Starts: Show my homepage
Homepage: https://phonebookoftheworld.com
replace https://phonebookoftheworld.com
by the homepage of your choice
example https://www.google.com
click on ok on the bottom of the window

it will start with the new homepage
For Netscape:
on the very top of your Computer screen
Netscape indicates
File - Edit - View - Go - Bookmarks etc.
click on Edit and go down to Preferences
A window opens and says

select this address and then delete it and enter a new homepage,
for example: https://www.google.com
click on ok
