Vigne Rouge in Montmajour next to Arles summer I888

In I890, the painting was exposed during le Salon XX in Brussels,
Anna Boch, the only female member of this association
of 20 Impressionist artists,
bought it to show public support to Vincent van Gogh
and his critised paintings.
She paid 400 Francs to buy the Vigne Rouge
