Konosuke Matsushita (I894 -I989)

Konosuke Matsushita was born in Wasa, a small Japaneese village
in the Prefecture of Wakayama
Rice Speculation and poor Family Business decisions
forced him to go to Osaka to make his own money.

At age 16 he worked for Osaka Electric Light Company
as a wiring Assistant which gave him the idea to invent
a new light socket.

At age 23 he founded "Matsushita Electric Appliance Factory"
manufacturing bullet-shaped lamps.


Over the years Matsushitas company became the World
largest manufacturer of electrica goods
sold under the Trademarks National, Panasonic, Technics and JVS.


Matsushita send the path to many innovative
Telecom Consumer Electronic Products
like Answering Machines, Fax and Phones

The company is among the 50
largest companies of the World.

Panasonic KX-FC 175AL
for years the Panasonic Answering Machines
were so performant that it was "illegal" to sell
them in many European countries like Germany of France.
Not beeing approoved by the local Phonecompanies
these products could not be sold or imported
